15 min. of reading aloud from chosen book
10 min. wrap up activity; design portfolio, game, madlibs, etc.

25 min. of writing exercises (1-2 pgs. Lang. Arts books, spelling tests, letter practice)
15 min. of reading aloud (readinga-z readers or short books)
5 min. comprehension check on story
